"From a vineyard located about 300 to 400 meters above sea level in Les Aspres, the 2020 Cotes du Roussillon Les Aspres Lea is a blend of 50% Carignan, 30% Grenache and 20% Syrah, barrel-fermented and aged in demi-muids. Despite—or because of—the presence of so much Carignan, it's a more delicate, floral wine than the pure Grenache Nicolas, with complex notes of dried herbs, black tea and rose hips accenting cherries and raspberries. It's full-bodied and silky-textured, another easy-to-enjoy effort from Jean-Marc and Eliane Lafage."
