" Very dense and compact, this giant sauvignon blanc opens very slowly. The pronounced rosemary, thyme and sage character takes it light years from any of the stereotypes for this grape. Very tightly wound, with enormous wet-stone minerality, this is already stretching out towards infinity. From organically grown grapes."

"Dense, ripe and tight on the nose, the 2019 Ried Zieregg Sauvignon Blanc is surprisingly cool and elegant yet aromatic. Dense and taut yet very elegant and balanced on the palate, this is a compact, salty and persistently complex Sauvignon classic from the Zieregg, but perhaps also as akin in essence to the Grassnitzberg as is otherwise rare (or at all). Salty depths and balanced poise, now and for the ages."
