"Tasted as a barrel sample, the 2015 Cotes du Roussillon Cuvee Authentique is a Syrah-dominated blend that includes 10% Mourvèdre. Aged in a mix of concrete tanks and 50% new barrels, it shines for its purity and elegance, with medium to full-bodied richness and ample crème de cassis, blackberry liqueur, licorice and lots of peppery herbs. It plays nicely in the cooler, mid-weight style of the vintage and will drink nicely for 4-5 years."
